Ian is Agency Principal and Licensee of Day & Grimes Real Estate.

Having been a cattleman, a soldier, a retail accountant, a project manager, a retail business owner and 28 years as a real estate agent Ian has all the interpersonal skills essential to determining and satisfiying the many and varied needs we all have when looking to buy or sell or rent a home or real estate investment.

Ian's real estate career began in Canberra in 1978 where he gained his licensing qualification, including stock and station agency in 1981. In 1982, Ian was admitted as an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia. Currently, Ian is a licence holder in Queensland and a member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland.

Combining his life's experiences with 28 years in the real estate industry ensures your real estate sale or purchase or the rental management of your home or investment or commercial sale or lease is in the hands of a highly experienced and qualified real estate agent. Of the "old school", Ian believes in service before self and has dedicated his period of ownership of Day & Grimes Real Estate from 1996 to the present day to furthering the agency’s well established reputation as the leading real estate company in Nambour.
